ALETHEA GOLD: STYLIST SPECIALISING IN CHILDREN'S FASHION

Alethea Gold was the Children's Editor/Fashion Editor of STUDIO BAMBINI magazine from the creation of the publication for 14 years before going freelance. Through her work, Alethea transformed the industry's outlook in children's fashion & style and developed a loyal following of the largest names in children's wear.

Choosing to pursue a freelance career, after her time at Studio Bambini, she worked with MODE magazine (now HARPERS BAZAAR) as a guest editor for MODE JNR and SHE publications collectively.

Alethea then went onto style and produce (Italian) VOGUE BAMBINI'S premiere photo shoot in Australia. She still has an ongoing working relationship with them, recently doing a photo shoot with world-renowned photographer Luca Zordan for their issue in Vietnam and most recently in China.

Collaborating with leading internationally acclaimed photographers, hair and make up artists world wide, Alethea has worked on numerous high profile international advertising campaigns. She styled the entire international advertising campaign for GUESS Kids in USA and has worked on top Japanese, Italian, Korean, Australian and British children's advertising and editorial fashion campaigns.

Besides specializing and styling in children's fashion, Alethea has worked with the leading international Street fashion magazine: SPORT AND STREET, which is part of COLLEZIONI magazines group and has styled some of the hottest surf campaigns out of Italy for SUNDECK (Italian Designer Surf Label)

Alethea currently works between Sydney, London, Los Angeles, Florence (Italy) and Cape Town. She has also worked in Miami, New York, New Zealand, Paris, India, Hawaii, Fiji, Bali, Mexico, Seychelles, Tahiti, New Caledonia, Africa, Vietnam, China and many more places around the globe. Her role not only involves styling, but often organizing the entire production and co-ordination of the photo-shoots.

In addition, after lengthy negotiations, Alethea produced and styled the first ever children's campaign allowed to be photographed in Cuba.

With her local and international connections to all major kid's and adults designers, she has styled and produced countless fashion shows, some of these with as many as 180 models on the catwalk.

Alethea has also styled TV presenters and celebrities as well as doing countless of interviews on TV herself, with some shows live to air sometimes having up to 20 children with her parading in the latest fashions.

The world's media has appreciated her distinctive personal style, while the Australian media declared her "the Guru and doyen of Children's fashion".
